01 Present Tense – Necesitar

This lesson covers a useful verb: necesitar (to need).  Thankfully, necesitar is a pretty easy one to change, but we could easily use this in normal conversation with others.

el dinero – money
estudiar – study
hablar por teléfono – to talk on the telephone
ir al baño – to go to the bathroom
ir al gimnasio – go to the gym
la clase – class
más – more
nuevo – new
para – for
trabajar – to work
una cámara – a camera
una chaqueta – a jacket
una guitarra – a guitar
un coche – a car
un lápiz – a pencil
un libro – a book
un perro – a dog
un vestido – a dress
unos pantalones – some pants
unos tenis – some tennis shoes

I have a question? How do you know when to use necesitas necesitos necesita, etc.

@Daniel Harris: You use a certain one when you are talking about certain people:

Yo necesito
Tu necesitas
El/Ella/Usted necesita
Nosotros necesitamos
Vosotros* necesitáis
Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes necesitan

*Spanish for Spain
