In this video, we talk about the personal pronouns in Spanish. If you’re not sure, personal pronouns are nouns that take the place of peopleI, you, he, she, we, they. In Spanish they are yo, tú, él, ella, usted, nosotros, nosotras, vosotros, vosotras, ellos, ellas, ustedes. This lesson is an important building block on Spanish grammar so you might want to watch it more than once.
In this video, we’ll be reviewing some of the basic questions from the Basic Conversation as well as discussing the two ways to say “You” in Spanish: Tú and Usted (Ud).
Tú is you for people we know and younger people whereas Usted is used for respect.
