Sobre este sitio

Hola. Soy el Señor Jordan y este blog es para mis alumnos y también para todos los que quieran aprender español. Quiero que mis lecciones sean gratis para Uds, y tampoco gano dinero por hacer esto.  Es solamente porque quiero compartir con todos el idioma que me encanta. Voy a poner videos de español para ayudarles a todos los que pueda.  Espero que disfruten.

Siéntanse libres de dejar comentarios, preguntas, o también sugerencias.

Hi. I’m Señor Jordan and this blog is for my students as well as for anyone else interested in learning Spanish.  I want my lessons to be free for you all and I don’t earn money from doing this either.  It is strictly to share  the language that I love with you.  I’m going to be posting Spanish videos to help everyone I can.  I hope you enjoy.

Feel free to leave comments, questions or suggestions.

Here’s a little video introduction for you all.

    Sr. Jordan,
I love your videos and some of my students even choose to watch them at home. They seem to really like them as well.

Would you make a video for Feliz Navidad with Spanish only lyrics? I like what you did already but it’s the English/Spanish version they already know.

    Gracias

I’ve referred my students to your (very entertaining) irregular preterite song video. May I make a suggestion? Instead of using haber-hube followed by the somewhat distracting explanation, why don’t you substitute andar-anduve in its place. This is how I’m teaching it to my class.

Thanks for your efforts and making them available to others!

¡Hola Sr. Jordan! Antes que nada quiero felicitarlo por sus videos. Han sido de mucha utilidad en mi clase de español en Martin High School. Me han ayudado mucho para explicar a mis alumnos la gramática y el vocabulario. Muchas gracias por todo su trabajo. Me gustaría mucho que me diera ideas de juegos para mi clase. Por favor mandeme un correo. :)

    Hello,
I love your site! I wonder do you have printable lessons, or recommend any workbooks to accompany what you teach?

    Sr. Jordan:
Seria estupendo si hicieras un video de los verbos que cambian de o a ue. Mi alumno Quontae (pupusa) no esta muy feliz. A el le encantan tus videos. Muere de ganas de conocerte en persona. :)

    Feliz Navidad!

You and your accomplishments are awesome. And you’re so young! I’ve been struggling with Spanish for several years now. Discovering your blog and video lessons on YouTube has increased my proficiency to such an extent that I don’t wonder about quitting any longer. You are the greatest Spanish teacher that I have come across. I’m so impressed! Gracias.

    Sr. Jordan:

Soy profesora del español (nivel básico) en una universidad comunitaria y estoy pensando en crear un sitio de web para que mis estudiantes puedan aprender más afuera de mis clases. Quiero incluir hipervínculos vivos a tus videos. Será posible hacer esto?

    Gracias de antemano.

    Saludos,
    Marsha

    Hola Sr Jordan,
Many compliments- I could fill this box, but you’ve heard it a million times. Also what is the picture at the top of your blog? It’s fascinating. I am putting together Spanish language training for my co-workers in Colorado. Where are you? I’m guessing east coast for some reason.
    que tenga un buen dia

    Karina,
You’re too kind! The picture is a basketball/soccer court in a Park in Tlaquepaque, México. I edited the colors a little in photoshop. I live in Missouri.
    Hasta luego,

    Hola Sr. Jordan!
I am so glad I came upon your site (found it on youtube). This is what I have been looking for! I have always been interested in the Spanish language, but only took one year in high school (many years ago). Now I am using Rosetta Stone, homeschool version so my kids can learn too… I like it OK, but am a little impatient…I want to learn more, and why/how things go together the way they do. I am more of an audio learner so these videos are awesome for me. Yes, I can look at all of my books here with verbs and charts and such, but it seems to make more sense to me when you say it with your neat videos. Great job…keep up the good work!!! This just makes learning spanish a little more interesting and fun! Your site will be one of my favorites :)
    Happy New Year!
    Mindy

    ¡Hola Señor Jordan!

Quiero utilizar sus videos en mis clases, pero no puedo ver sus videos en mi computadora de la escuela. La persona que trabaja con las computadoras no puede ayudarme. ¿Hay un programa que puedo transferir para ver los videos?

Hola! Very nice work, Sr. Jordan! Your enthusiasm and joy to teach are so wonderful.
    Muchisimas Gracias!
I had no idea about Spanish, just spent few days so far on your youtube lessons, already learned so many words, sentences, etc.
I did not get the chance to watch/practice all your videos yet, hope I’ll do it.
I have a question, please: do you have any lesson for writing a letter? (Email). How to say: dear friend, dear Rosa to an older person but very dear to me or how to close a letter on a formal/informal manner? Very much appreciate! Keep up the good work!

    Hey from Norway!
Thanks for your videos, they are very helpful as they are easy to understand and you always provide us with many examples! Love your attitude and humour:)
Sure it’s impossible to include everything, but I personally would find it very helpful to learn some information which is more advansed, for example about sentence structure, maybe formal vs. unformal language, more on exceptions.

    hola
I love your videos, I go to your website to find the videos so I can hear how things are pronounced and to see the words, it makes more sense than just the written word.
It would be great if you could do a video on vowels and how to pronounce the combination of vowels.
