“Arréglate Conmigo” con Ale (Spanish in Context)

Here’s a collaboration that has been in the works since May of this year.

I reached out to Alejandra from the Youtube channel Ale Pro Makeup 96 to make a video on getting ready for an occasion since she does a lot of makeup vids.

Here’s what she came up with.  You can see my reaction video to seeing hers here where I get ready for a tea party.

I made a guide to go along with the video for you to follow along if you would like (see below).

She speaks fast and has a lot of words she uses.  And some words are specialized.  Things I noticed a lot were: clothing words, colors, parts of the face, words for make-upyo form, future tense

Of course there are other phrases in the video as well!

Hope you like it!  And if you do, check out Ale’s youtube channel to practice Spanish in context!

¿De qué color es? (Colors Song!)

Posted by Señor Jordan on Feb 15, 2016 in agreement, basic, basics, conjugation, information, misc, nouns, random, Ser vs estar, song, verbs, vocabulary, year 1

Here’s a fun little song I came up with to help with colors, animals and some high frequency words!

Let me know what you think!

Some asked for a coloring sheet to use with the video. Here are two different ones. Let me know if you had a better idea for how I could make them. I figured in one they could write the colors in and in the other they can just colors in the colors and the animals!

I also wrote a Super Simple Reader based on the vocabulary from this song if you would like to download it to read or print off for your classes! B&W versions also available if you’d like to have your little ones color it. 🙂

New Cuentas Conmigo!

I am alive and still working on some videos. Most of them will have to be filmed in the summer (unfortunately!).  But I am glad to see that Lucas has become a fairly popular addition to the videos.

Here’s a side project I am working on this semester. Please feel free to get involved. It will have language in context in a story. And you vote on the piece of information that will go into the next video!

I made a separate channel for it this time around since it’s quite different from my grammar vids.

Let me know what you think!

Here’s episode 1 in the present tense:
