The Months of the year + a song!

Posted by Señor Jordan on Jan 5, 2017 in basic, basics, information, misc, nouns, random, song, vocabulary, year 1

I’ve been wanting to redo a lot of my oldest videos. It just so happens that Lucas and I were able to make one.  But he was a little self-conscious about how he looks lately so he decided we should try to pull it off as cartoons! Hope you enjoy.

So in this video, we’ll talk about Los meses or “the months”.

I think it has a nice blend of information, basic Spanish, other Spanish phrases, and droll humor.

Stay tuned for vocabulary lists at the end!

Using De + possessed objects!

Posted by Señor Jordan on Dec 10, 2016 in basic, basics, grammar, possessives, prepositions, random, year 1

I’ve been wanting to make a video for a long time on how we use “de” for possessions since in English we say, “[person]’s ___” and in Spanish it’s a little different. Enjoy!

Please leave any questions or comments related to the video below.

And have a great “de“! 😉

How to form Adverbs in Spanish!

Posted by Señor Jordan on Dec 4, 2016 in adjectives, agreement, basic, basics, grammar, misc, random, song

Someone asked me awhile back to make a video on adverbs in Spanish.  Adverbs are basically words that add more information to the verb or sentence.

I hope you enjoy the video! I’ve been working on the animation since June!

And I got a short, fat, and strong ninja and his love interest to help me as well in this episode!

Feel free to write in the comments your own sentences with how Juan Cena says hello!

And watch until the very end!

Vocabulary list included at the end of the video!

01 Some common words for pets in Spanish

¡Hola! So I thought it would be fun to make a simple vocabulary video centered around different “mascotas” or “pets” as we might call them in English. Thus grew this idea into a video!  Hope you enjoy it.  You’ll also notice that we are using all of the forms of tener (to have) in context minus the form from Spain: tenéis.

And there is a word bank at the end if you wanted to see what all is in the video!

Espero que disfrutes del video. (I hope that you enjoy the video.)
