Here’s a short film I made after experimenting with camera angles, and telling a story thanks to a workshop taught by Señor Wooly himself of senorwooly.com.
I was wanting to practice certain clothing words, colors, and the “yo” form and tell a compelling story. Of course there are other phrases in the video as well!
Here’s a fun little song I came up with to help with colors, animals and some high frequency words!
Let me know what you think!
Some asked for a coloring sheet to use with the video. Here are two different ones. Let me know if you had a better idea for how I could make them. I figured in one they could write the colors in and in the other they can just colors in the colors and the animals!
I also wrote a Super Simple Reader based on the vocabulary from this song if you would like to download it to read or print off for your classes! B&W versions also available if you’d like to have your little ones color it. 🙂 Read more…
I am alive and still working on some videos. Most of them will have to be filmed in the summer (unfortunately!). But I am glad to see that Lucas has become a fairly popular addition to the videos.
Here’s a side project I am working on this semester. Please feel free to get involved. It will have language in context in a story. And you vote on the piece of information that will go into the next video!
I made a separate channel for it this time around since it’s quite different from my grammar vids.
Here is a video I made for Mundo Learning to use with their curriculum for high school students. I think it turned out fun! It’s over some basic greetings in Spanish Thankfully, I had a little help.
If you’re learning any language (Spanish or otherwise), here’s a video over a technique you can us to help you with vocabulary. It involves using associations.
This video was for a group presentation at their request. Maybe you can still find it helpful? I tried to have fun while making it because life’s too short!
Here’s a blog that I started to accompany the “mono” story I’ve been working on every so often.
(Click picture to see blog)
The idea is to learn Spanish in a more natural, repetitive way.
It’s more focused on high frequency structures (goes, likes, wants, needs) and less on long vocabulary lists. Check it out and let me know what you think!
And I’ve also been adding additional guided questions in every post for people who wanted additional practice or guidance as they watch the vids!
Here’s an interactive story that I made on Youtube with the help of those who left comments. Every episode is in order. Just go down to watch the next video. To see people’s ideas, go to click on the youtube video a few times and it should take you to the Youtube page. 😉
