Hey everyone! I’ve been super busy working on various projects behind the scenes. But I wanted to do something for Youtube again. I decided to resurrect one of my favorite YouTube series: Cuentas Conmigo, where you can add in details as you watch and help me make a story.
Here’s the newest storyline!
I’m also making materials (see first episode’s for free) for teacher’s to download to offset the cost of production of the videos! I hope you can use them in your classes or to practice as you learn Spanish!
In this lesson, we’re going to go over the O in WEIRDOS, which stands for Ojalá. It’s an incredibly common expression in Spanish, which is rooted in the history of Spain!
So check out the video and practice afterwards to check your understanding!

*This video was a lot of fun to make and I hope you enjoy it and find it educational. In addition, I hope you enjoy the personal anecdotes that I have included as learning Spanish continues to be something very personal in my life! 😉
Explanation video: History of Ojalá, Spain and moor! Err I meant more. Or did I?
I am alive and still working on some videos. Most of them will have to be filmed in the summer (unfortunately!). But I am glad to see that Lucas has become a fairly popular addition to the videos.
Here’s a side project I am working on this semester. Please feel free to get involved. It will have language in context in a story. And you vote on the piece of information that will go into the next video!
I made a separate channel for it this time around since it’s quite different from my grammar vids.
