¡Hola! This video lesson continues with lessons on the imperfect tense in Spanish. This lesson specifically covers the regular ER / IR verbs. If you’re not sure which those are, it will be every verb except for three. The next video in this series will cover the all of the irregular verbs in this tense. Remember that we use this tense for ‘used to __‘ and ‘was/were ___ing‘

In this video lesson, we’ll be starting to learn how to do the preterite tense. The preterite is a past tense that deals with finished actions.
The present tense = I talk, I am talking,
Preterite = I talked.
